The iPhone 4S/5 might not be coming anytime soon, but there are still ways to give your hard-earned money to Apple. The Cupertino company's now updated its iMac lineup with a quad-core i5 processor (upgradeable to i7), new AMD Radeon HD graphic processor, Thunderbolt I/O, and a FaceTime HD camera. With the new FaceTime HD, widescreen HD video calls can be made between compatible Macs, though only standard resolution calls can be made to even the latest iOS devices. Is there a chance Apple will bring HD front-facing cameras to the iPhone in near future? After all, FaceTime calls can only be made over WiFi (officially, at least), so higher bandwidth requirement wouldn't be an issue. FaceTime aside, CNET has observed something new beyond the spec sheet. Unlike the past, where the magic mouse came along with iMacs by default, users will now have the option to switch it for a magic trackpad. Prices for the new iMacs start at $1199 for a 21.5-inch iMac with 2.5Ghz quad-core i5 processor, and top out at $1999 for a 27-inch iMac with 3.1Ghz quad-core i5 processor -- all without taking upgrades into account. The new lineup are available in both Apple retail and online stores.
