A/B testing website optimization startup Optimizely is currently hiring 27 software engineers, according to reports from the News-Gazette. The current hiring push is likely related to Optimizely’s growth plan.
In April, the company received a second round of funding that landed it $28 million. Co-founder and CEO Dan Siroker told TechCrunch that the company had international, sales and marketing, infrastructure and customer support expansion plans. At the time, Optimizely had about 68 employees. The company’s offices can accommodate more than 450, and Siroker told TechCrunch that he hoped to outgrow the location.
Optimizely’s current hiring plan was discussed recently during a panel session on entrepreneurship at the University of Illinois, by alumni and Optimizely co-founder Pete Koomen. He told the audience that the San Francisco-based company was hiring engineers and encouraged the students to apply.
