Ubisoft LogoUbisoft is accelerating its growth in Quebec with plans to invest $373 million into its operations there over the next seven years. The plans are expected to generate an additional 500 jobs in the area, bringing its Quebec workforce to a total of 3,500 by 2020. While the company also plans to consolidate its North American online games infrastructure into its Montreal operations, there will be no impact at its U.S. facilities, according to a spokeswoman. With 26 studios in 19 countries, Ubisoft considers its Quebec studios to be the heart of its growth over the past 16 years. The 500 new positions will include Business Intelligence Analysts, Mathematicians, Telemetry Experts, Systems Operators and Interactive Marketing Specialists.
