Orion employs 775 people in 20 offices worldwide, including Boston, the greater Los Angeles area, Scottsdale, Ariz., Raleigh, N.C., and Nashville, Tenn. Currently, Orion is hiring for an infrastructure DBA, project manager, and technical implementation consultant in its Raleigh and Nashville offices. An Orion representative was not immediately available to elaborate on the software developer positions that may be coming to the U.S., as a result of its expansion. The company's core products include technology for a health information exchange among providers, an integration engine between legacy and newer health systems, and secure messaging and mapping tools. Orion Health is among nine organizations working to lay the foundation for a secure nationwide health information exchange.
