Chicago-based SingleHop, a dedicated hosting and cloud solutions provider, is looking for a sales engineer and systems administrator, in addition to its ongoing hunt for strong development and sales talent. SingleHop LogoIn an interview with Dice News, SingleHop’s Director of Human Resources Deanna Swanson wouldn’t comment on the salary range being offered, but said pay would be based on the experience of the candidate and the specific skills related to each job. Dan Ushman, the company’s CMO and Co-Founder, has indicated that SingleHop’s hiring in the Windy City could top 300 by 2015. The bulk of hiring is set to come after year’s end though. “For the most part we are holding steady for the remainder of 2013, he said. “That being said we have a few key hires that we would like to make in the coming months.” That hiring is more strategic and will be done as-needed. Currently, SingleHop has 105 employees, up from the 75 it reported in mid-2012. The company has four data centers in Chicago, Phoenix and Amsterdam. Swanson attributes the company’s growth to planned expansion of its data center operations. She added that the company has “very aggressive growth goals for the organization, but we are committed to a measured approach as to when and how we grow our staff.”
