[caption id="attachment_8280" align="aligncenter" width="618"] As part of the release, SourceForge has updated its Project Summary pages with new content.[/caption] SourceForge (Slashdot’s sister Website) has launched an Enterprise Directory devoted to open-source enterprise projects such as productivity software and customer-relationship management (CRM) software. As part of the release, SourceForge has updated its Project Summary pages with new content such as longer project descriptions, a resource center, and comparison charts. Those visiting the pages can also find reviews, ratings, links to relevant books and related projects, and more. “The changes will appear only on select Enterprise-Ready projects such as Alfresco Content Management and Liferay Portal,” read a note on the SourceForge Community Blog. “However, this is a beta release and we are constantly focused on increasing the numbers of projects in this select list, based on your feedback.” Enterprise-ready projects aren’t new to SourceForge, which has highlighted several over the past few months. For example, the Website’s project of the month for March was Postbooks, an ERP platform released by XTuple; it’s also highlighted business-intelligence platforms from Pentaho and other companies. More information (including SourceForge contact info for anyone with an enterprise-ready project) is available on the SourceForge Community Blog.   Image: SourceForge
