Mobile game developers, I’ve got some good news and some bad news. Slightly more than a third of your players think your games are fun. About another third are playing for the challenge, to connect with others, or to compete. That’s the good news.
The bad news: The rest are only playing to kill time.
And, you’re not necessarily helping kids with their education. Thirty one percent of players responding to a survey by game portal MocoSpace say they play in class. (Note to teachers: It’s because they’re bored.)
