Dice Facebook Launches App Center to Promote “High-Quality” Apps: Facebook will launch an App Center where users can browse "high-quality" mobile apps, a key criterion being that they integrate with the social network. It will host apps that work on Android, Apple's iOS and the Web. To actually get the apps, users will go to Google Play or the App Store. Eligible apps include sites and mobile apps that use Facebook's authentication system to offer users a personalized experience as well as those hosted on commercial Facebook pages.
