The launch date of the new iPhones is drawing closer and closer. Sprint is not denying that it'll soon join AT&T and Verizon as an iPhone carrier in the U.S., but it's certain that T-Mobile won't be jumping in, at least not in 2011, according to a leaked report from T-Mobile’s OneVoice intranet. The report quotes T-Mobile's chief marketing officer, Cole Brodman, as saying: "We are not getting the iPhone 5 this year." Depending how you interpret that, Brodman may be hinting that T-Mobile will launch an iPhone 5 next year, or perhaps the carrier won't carry the iPhone until the iPhone 6 is announced. It's also possible that T-Mobile is hoping to piggyback on AT&T's iPhone pipe after its much-challenged merger is sealed, if it ever is. To those who're desperate enough to use the iPhone on T-Mobile's network and don't  mind putting up with the slow EDGE connection (T-Mobile's 3G network is incompatible with the iPhone), without having to jailbreak the device, simply pick an unlocked iPhone from Apple's online store, though remember it comes with a much higher price point.
