Sleepbox: an Airport Recharging Station for Humans and Their Gadgets
The Sleepbox, brainchild of Russian architects Arch Group, it does what the name implies. The tiny ash-veneer boxes come with up to three beds, electrical outlets for recharging phones, laptops and the like, space for storing luggage, LED reading lamps, electric blinds, Wi-Fi, a safe and a touchscreen TV. They can be rented for as little as 30 minutes, or you can stay in them as long as you want. It may well be a capsule hotel by another name, but as someone who has done quite a bit of traveling, I have to say that this sounds like a pretty good way to get some much-needed rest when you have a bit of time to kill between flights.
