Computerworld’s annual survey of
the 100 best places to work for IT professionals is back, whittling 500 nominated companies down to 100. A total of 29,308 IT employees responded to a detailed covering everything from salaries and benefits to child care and education programs. (To qualify, companies had to have a minimum of 50 IT employees.) The top 10 overall:

How do your perks compare to the perks at USAA? Employees there get an annual holiday bonus equal to two weeks' base pay, health insurance subsidized at the rate of 87.5 percent, access to any of three on-campus fitness centers at minimal cost, 24 days of vacation after a year on the job, and a tuition reimbursement benefit of $10,000 annually. Additionally, in February each of the company's 22,500 full-time employees received a whopping 18.4 percent performance bonus, the second highest in the company's history. The survey can be a handy tool for those who want to see how their perks stack up.
