Wargaming.net's unveiled plans for World of Battleships, a free-to-play MMO that puts you in command of the 20th century's greatest naval fleets. Those are my hype-y words, not Wargaming's, but I can't help myself. Much as I love the idea of wiping out Romulans or rescuing princesses from giant spiders, I've always thought I'd have been a better person if I'd joined the Navy. Now I'm too puffy, but at least I'll have the chance to show off my fleet-battle strategy chops. A companion to World of Tanks and World of Warplanes, World of Battleships will let you to share economic resources between the games through what the company calls a "straightforward" interface.
