In an interview with Dice News, CEO Steve Barone said that “if a few key deals come through,” even more people could be hired. Most of the new employees will be at the company’s headquarters in Troy. A few will work in its Washington, D.C., office. CBI has already added 15 people this year. Creative Breakthroughs, which has strategic software partnerships with big players like Symantec as well as emerging companies, regularly holds career fairs in Troy. One in May resulted in two new hires out of 60 applicants. The company is currently interviewing candidates it met at its July event. “We are very strategic with our hiring. We want to make sure that the candidate is a good fit for the position and our organization,” says Barone. “We’re looking for unique individuals — people with a lot of drive and motivation. Once our people get a foot in the door, we go above and beyond to help team members create long-term, meaningful careers.” Typically, CBI conducts on-site interviews at its fairs, currently focused on engineering and IT consulting roles. While the dates are yet to be confirmed, another fair is slated for mid-October, with additional job fairs to be held each quarter. Barone says the company is actively recruiting. Information about the October event will be available soon online. He also recommends following the company on social networks like Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn for regular job and company updates.
