The insurance company Geico is seeking college graduates to enter a new three-year Technology Development Program based at the company’s headquarters in suburban Washington, D.C. The full-time program is designed to give participants a “well-rounded experience within IT at Geico,” it says. Team Collaborating“Our technology development program is designed to provide a foundation for success by providing our program candidates with a comprehensive set of experiences in mobile and Web development as well as IT operations,” said CIO Greg Kalinsky in a statement. Participants in the program will rotate through Geico’s Information Services, Systems Operations and Internet Business divisions and work on individual and team projects, and  develop technical, project management, communication and leadership skills as they go along. They'll work in programming, networking and architecture, software engineering and database management. After completing the program, participants will move into positions on Geico technical teams. Applicants need a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, an overall GPA of at least 3.2, and coursework or other experience using Java, .NET, iOS, Android and/or C#.
