We need new geeks to honor. Your reward, should you make it to the final round, is a  well-written feature story that will sing your praises, show off your work, and generally prove your worthiness to all. We’ll also throw in a photo or two of your smiling mug, and links to your various masterpieces. storm_troopersHelp us prove to the world that we’re not a bunch of introverted cubicle geeks, but a richly diverse group of people who just happen to work in the broad set of industries that reside under the umbrella of technology. Do you work in tech and have hobbies or interests that are outside the box? Are there any special skills that you want to brag about (must be G or PG rated), or an interesting path that's worth sharing? If you’re currently looking for work and have a resume listed with us, this could be an opportunity to show employers another side of you. If you’re working and/or looking on the sly, it'll be a great way to stand out and highlight current projects, as well as your swell outside-of-work life. (And, no, we won't tell anyone if you're trying to be discreet.) So far we’ve honored a programmer from Texas who’s obsessed with automation, a physicist turned Sci-Fi television writer, a multi-hyphenate musician/programmer/developer with too many degrees to shake a stick at and, a very cool defense industry tech writer with a love of beer and hiking. We want to hear from you, so please introduce yourself and maybe, just maybe, you’ll be our Featured Geek. Send us a note at editor @ dice.com P.S. If you’ve ever dressed as a Wookie and belly danced at Raks Geek, we may have to put you on the front page.
