Apple's June developers conference has always been a perfect time for Apple to announce new products or improvements, like its iPhone 4 unveiling at WWDC in 2010. This year isn't likely to be any different. The WWDC stands to be the best time to announce the next generation iMac and MacBook Pro suite, with Retina Display. That would be Awesome! The MacBook Pro design, according to reports, is expected to be thinner and also feature USB 3.0. Apple may achieve a thinner design by stripping out the CD/DVD drive. Funny or not, Geekbench reveals that inside every new MacBook Pro (and iMac, I dare to think) there will be an
Intel 22nm Ivy Bridge processor, at least 8 GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M GPU. People should also know that these results could be fake. If the rumours end up to be true, it appears this is Apple's Retina Display year. After the previously announced Retina Display iPad, it seems the next logical step for Apple is a whole line of Retina Display devices. I recommend everyone keeps an eye on Apple's WWDC event in San Francisco, which kicks off June 11-15. As usual, Apple might surprise us again with "just one more thing."
