Rumors about an update to the MacBook Air line have been circulating for some time now. This week, however, is the first time we have seen a date to go with them: July 19th – around the same time as we are expecting to see OS X Lion hit the App Store. According to BGR, the refreshed MacBook Air line is expected to do away with the Core 2 Duo in favor of the more powerful Sandy Bridge processors, specifically Intel’s 1.8GHz Intel Core i7, 1.7GHz Core i7, and the 1.7GHz Core i5.
