The award for the funniest booth at Interop has to go to Fusion-io and its mechanical bull painted to look like a hard drive. The promotional hook is that Fusion-io sells only solid state memory. They want you to toss your hard drive like the hard drive is going to toss you. And that’s exactly what happened. Attendees got on the mechanical bull and got tossed. It was pretty funny. Also, the video wall, simultaneously playing videos off of one solid state system, was rather impressive. Take a look.
